BUTEUSE - clone

"While it’s broadly speaking in the tradition of a Belgian “tripel” pale ale, La Buteuse is more highly hopped than its European counterparts. But the extra hopping (mainly with American varieties) doesn’t overwhelm the other flavours and aromas in this richly layered brew.
Instead, this slightly hazy, orangey-gold beer has notes of candied orange peel and some spice on the nose. Those are there in the flavour, along with some herbal and floral notes, a touch of peppercorn and a lingering, dry finish. All those layers help hide the potent level of alcohol in this masterfully crafted 10-per-cent brew. (Don’t serve this one particularly cold, as you’ll be missing out on some of the complexity; more layers come out as it warms up.)."
